About the Role
As a Sales Analyst, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Central Sales Team and contributing to our mission of growth. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining weekly and monthly business reports, offering insightful analysis on business trends, and assisting in creating compelling, data-driven narratives to drive business growth. We're looking for someone who is organized, inquisitive, articulate, and passionate about using data to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
Generate weekly and monthly business reports, providing in-depth analysis and recaps.
Conduct pricing, promotional, and ROI analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Utilize various systems, including internal data platforms and external databases like Nielsen and IRI, to gather insights.
Collaborate with team members on projects and effectively manage workload priorities.
Translate business trends into compelling narratives and actionable opportunities for growth.
Proactively review information and provide recommendations for action.
Assist in customer promotional planning processes and maintain volume and promotional planning tools.
Support the team and leaders with ad hoc business requests.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience.
Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to understanding the business.
Excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong ability to distill complex data into clear insights.
Solid business acumen and the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Occasional travel required for national sales meetings, business reviews, and market visits.
