Responsibilities:- Support the Director of Sales
- Compile Sales reports weekly and monthly
- Dowload data from AS400
- Collaborate with Sales to record revenue/ profit for new customers
- Update CRM(Salesforce) on opportunities that were secured weekly
- Update quotation and booking log sheet weekly
- Gather shipment information and setup account procedures for operations
- Collaborate with operations for proper account managmeent
- Transition each new customer to operations
- Email overseas offices, US offices and subccontractors to secure pricing
- Compile reports for analysis and review
- General business support function as assigned
- Hourly Range $24-$30
Qualifications:
- Great computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment handling multiple projects
- Ability to work independently
- 3+ years experience in an general business assistant role
- Experience working at a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
**Note, this position will be required to work onsite at our South San Francisco site and will offer a hybrid work schedule in the future
Organization Relationships:
This position will interact with branch colleagues, leadership staff, and office /warehouse personnel. Must be able to work with customers, vendors, and outside organizations.
Work Environment:
