The Sales Administrator provides clerical and organizational support to a rapidly growing sales team. He/She manages calendars and appointments, tracks orders, processes paperwork, maintains the customer database, and ensures products or services are delivered on time. The Sales Administrator may also handle customer questions, requests, and complaints. He/She contributes to the achievement of sales targets by supporting sales representatives, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining good customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Help the sales team to improve productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all Sales Associates have high-quality, up-to-date support material
- Handle urgent calls, emails, and messages when Sales Associates are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates, and scheduling marketing events
- Manage orders by phone, email, or mail; verifying orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers
- Input orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently
- Developing and maintaining filing systems to maintain sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department
- Ensure training; validate Sales Associates meet their quotas and goals
- Manage budgets for expenses like bonuses, marketing, and travel
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 2 years of sales support experience; direct sales experience a plus
- Good team development and influencing skills
- Computer literacy
- Exception time management, planning and organization and problem-solving skills are required
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations
Compensation: Salary Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
