Position Overview:
As a Sales Admin, you will play a crucial role in in the sales process. You'll work with the executive team to draft client facing proposals and presentations. You'll be the key owner of our sales reports and CRM and you'll organize and execute key marketing events and tradeshows.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Facing Materials - Work with the executive team to draft estimates, flow charts,
proposals and presentations on multi-million dollar projects to win new business.
· CRM Owner - Take ownership of our CRM, ensure company wide utilization and
· consistent data.
· Sales Reports - Work with the sales team to maintain effective sales reports providing
clarity and accurately forecasting future revenue.
· Tradeshows - Coordinate all aspects of 4-6 tradeshows per year. Work with the
marketing team to ensure space is booked, booth logistics are confirmed and travel plans
are set. Attend the events to ensure smooth execution.
· Marketing Events - Similar to tradeshows, take ownership of marketing events
coordinating all aspects to make sure we impress current and future clients.
Who You'll Report To:
· VP-Sales - they'll oversee every all aspects of your role.
Who You'll Work With:
· Executive Team - Our Executive Team plays a key role in managing major relationships
and selling into those accounts. You'll help them draft proposals and presentations.
· Marketing Team - You'll work with the Marketing Team on events taking ownership of
each one as its own project
· Sales Team - You'll work with the Sales Team to make sure we're getting the most out
of our CRM
What The First Year Looks Like:
· Month 1 - you'll onboard, meet the whole team and learn about our products and
services by working in our test lab some of the time.
· Month 2-3 - you'll start taking over drafting of estimates, flow charts and proposals with
lots of support from our Executive Team. We'll launch an updated CRM, you'll help with
the installation. You'll begin supporting marketing events and tradeshows.
· Month 4-6 - you'll progressively take over more and more of the proposal and
presentation work. You'll also start working on our CRM reports.
· Month 7+ - you'll be up and running
Qualifications:
· Experience: Proven track record in inside sales or account management.
· Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build
relationships and influence decision-makers. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation
abilities.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other
sales tools.
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but
not required.
· Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part
of a team. A passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship is a plus.
