Job Summary:
The Sales Account Manager's primary responsibility at BioSafe Solutions encompasses the effective promotion and sale of laboratory diagnostic collection kits and 3PL services. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive, tailored solutions to each customer, thereby contributing to heightened top-line revenue growth, increased customer acquisition levels, and improved profitability.
Specifically, as an Account Manager, you will engage in the promotion and sale of a diverse range of laboratory diagnostic kits, order fulfillment, storage, and 3PL services to healthcare institutions, laboratories, research facilities, and other applicable small to large businesses. To expand our customer base, you are expected to identify opportunities within various industries that would benefit from kitting and fulfillment services. Your overarching objective will be to cultivate robust client relationships, comprehend their specific needs, and offer tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years Business Management and/or Sales experience.
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Thorough understanding of products and services to be sold. (Training provided)
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Able to work well individually and with a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Willing to learn new processes and software as needed for your position.
- Able to travel to visit clients.
- Willing to attend Trade Shows as required.
- A positive, go-getter attitude.
Good to Have but Not Required:
- AA Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing.
- A background or some knowledge in the Medical or Laboratory Industry.
- A general understanding of 3PL and logistic services.
- A network of mid to high-level connections across various industries.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seeking out and identifying potential customers or clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Customer Engagement: Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the products or services offered by the company to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling and persuasive sales presentations to showcase the value proposition of the products or services.
- Preparing for, and attending, Trade Shows.
- Negotiation and Closing: Engaging in negotiations with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements and successfully closing sales deals.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Setting and meeting sales targets (quotas) and objectives as outlined by the company to contribute to overall business goals.
- Market Research: Keeping abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Sales Reporting: Entering all sales activities, progress, and results into NetSuite.
- Provides official Quotes to clients via NetSuite.
- Enters Opportunities into NetSuite for proper forecasting.
- Entering all Leads into NetSuite and/or providing Leads lists to the Sales Assistant to enter for you.
- Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Continuous Learning: Staying informed about industry best practices, sales techniques, and product updates to enhance selling skills and knowledge.
- Adherence to Policies: Following company policies and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Provides official quotes to clients via NetSuite.
- Attending weekly Sales Meetings either in person or remotely.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required on occasion.
