About the Job
As the Sales Account Manager for our West Coast region you will apply your understanding of our value proposition to identify, quantify, and open the door with new customers to achieve profitable sales growth as well as strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will also apply your skills in the flexible packaging industry into food, beverage, industrial and commercial market segments that would benefit from our solutions and services. Establish relationships with customer decision makers that will be shared with our sales team, and close deals for profitability and growth. Essential Responsibilities:
1. Develop plans and strategies to grow shrink wrap / bundling, film packaging sales into Food & Beverage, Personal Care, Consumer Packaging, Industrial, Home market
2. Recommend price quotations through analyzing data and making informed judgments.
3. Produce Target Customer & Pipeline Opportunities reports, sales budgets/forecasts and monitor results.
4. Coordinates efforts with Product Line Management, Product Development, and Manufacturing
5. Develop in depth relationships with key accounts.
6. Continually seeks and utilizes competitive intelligence
Position Requirements:
• Successfully expanded sales with Year Over Year growth through organic sales and/or new customers
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers
• Planning, organizing, and executing sales strategies
• * experience in packaging preferred flexible, film, extrusion or converting plastic will be given first consideration.
