Responsibilities:
Learn and understand client applications to effectively develop new relationships and re-engage former clients for both new and existing product lines.
Engage with customers to identify their application needs and requirements, providing tailored solutions and support throughout the sales process.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, both domestically and internationally, by targeting key stakeholders and assisting with product development from prototyping to volume production.
Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements:
1-3 years of sales experience preferred, with a strong aptitude for understanding technical engineering terminology and products.
Passion for sales and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and close deals.
Willingness to communicate with customers via various channels, including phone calls, emails, trade show events, and in-person meetings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated sales and marketing competency, with a willingness to learn about photonics products.
Strong listening skills and a customer-focused approach to sales.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking on multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree preferred, with a STEM background considered a plus.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, plus sales commission and eligibility for monthly/quarterly sales bonuses based on performance.
