Salary range: 55-75K (plus commissions) based on experience.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the development of annual business plan in conjunction with the General Manager and Sales team. This plan details activities to follow during the fiscal year to meet or exceed established sales goals.
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from competitors.
- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
- Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations.
- Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Ability to successfully close a sale.
- Previous experience in Technical and/or Foam Sales is a HUGE plus.
- Working knowledge of a variety of pricing and proposal models.
- Ability to communicate professionally with business owners and decision makers.
- Ability to gather and submit detailed business information for underwriting, pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects` business problems.
- Ability to build trust, communicate effectively, collaborate, execute, foster innovation, focus on customer needs/solutions, and solve problems creatively while demonstrating a high level of integrity.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
- Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community, as well as to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Working knowledge of presentation software; word processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software and contact management systems.
This position will operate both in the office and plant environments. There will also be air or car travel required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with potential evening and weekend hours.
Travel:
Travel by air or car regularly to visit customers and conduct sales calls
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelors' degree (B. S.) or equivalent; or minimum 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
