Account Executive (Federal)
Fully Remote (100%) / West Coast Hours
$45k
*Must be based out of California or Colorado with ability to travel to client visits in your territory*
MUST:
Experienced Sales Executive - Territory Sales
1 - 3+ years of experience selling software & services to the Federal Government or Commercial Clients (mostly government) required
Must understand GSA schedule, terminology, IDIQ's, RFP's, RFI's
Experienced in B2B Sales , IT
Mission-driven with an empathetic approach who takes ownership for delivering customer value and satisfaction
Experience with federal government procurement
Familiarity with contracts and terms of service
Experience negotiating and closing multi-year deals
Experience in direct and partner sales models
Experience with a CRM - Salesforce etc.
DUTIES:
Partner with Field Sales to promote renewal strategy and manage or support the renewal process across your assigned account territory in the Federal Government space
You will manage renewal and expansion of assigned accounts, managing the process from account review to deal close
You will attain quarterly bookings targets and overall renewal and expansion metrics
Research contracts and product entitlements to ensure quotes are relevant, accurate, and support co-terming
Develop a positive and productive relationship with clients, working with them throughout the procurement process
Work with our teams (finance, legal, deal desk, sales leadership, support, and client success) to encourage deal closure and delivery of client value
Adapt and evolve process and playbooks to maximize renewal and expansion revenue and reduce sales cycle friction
Manage opportunities in Salesforce, and own discussions around forecast and pipeline Participate in strategy and planning discussions with new business counterparts
