We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Safety Manager to join our team in Sterling, VA  as a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and contractors.

• Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to establish a culture of safety
• Design and implement effective safety programs, safety plans, and job hazard analyses (JHA)
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions to educate employees on safety practices and OSHA regulations
• Monitor safety compliance and report safety issues and progress to upper management
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to integrate safety protocols into all aspects of operations
• Maintain accurate safety records, logs, and documentation as required by company policy and regulatory agencies
• Oversee the safety performance of subcontractors and contractors on-site
• Stay current with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices, updating company policies accordingly

• OSHA 30 hour
• First Aid CPR
• Previous safety manager experience direct with General Contractor on data center builds
