Job Details

• Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
• Location: Moses Lake, WA
• Duration: 6 Months (Start: 1/27/2025)
• Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $50/hr
• Per Diem: $125/day (if over 50 miles from Moses Lake, WA)
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay: Weekly

Schedule:

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 40 hrs/week (1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM | 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Project Scope

You will oversee the safety of the construction completion for a silicon battery material factory as the Owner's Representative for our client. Key safety protocols include:

• Lock Out/Tag Out
• Hot Work
• Excavation/Civil Work
• Mechanical Operations

Responsibilities:

• Supervise multiple subcontractors (200-300 personnel on-site).
• Conduct daily meetings with subcontractor safety managers.
• Perform site orientations and maintain a visible field presence to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Certifications:
  • OSHA 510 with 3+ years of experience, or
  • OSHA 30 with 7+ years of experience, or
  • CSP/BSP/BCSP Certification
• Other: First Aid/CPR certification; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
• Provide safety training as needed.
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required.

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• OSHA outreach training experience (a plus)
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
• Effective communication of EHS principles
