Job Title: Safety Manager
We are in search of a Safety Manager with a strong background in OSHA regulations and safety protocols for our growing team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of safety supervision experience, with a focus on ensuring workplace safety and compliance. A dual responsibility in environmental compliance is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety programs in alignment with OSHA regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Provide comprehensive safety training to employees on protocols and procedures
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective measures
- Collaborate with management to set and achieve safety goals
- Maintain and update safety policies and procedures regularly
- Keep detailed records of safety training and incidents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 10 years of safety supervision experience
- Knowledge of State environmental compliance regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
Industry Certificates for the State:
- State Occupational Safety and Health Administration (_OSHA) Certification
- Certified Environmental Compliance Professional (CECP) for the State of Occupation
