Pay: Depending On Experience
Position Summary: The Safety Manager is responsible for the safety and regulatory compliance of work activities, identifying areas of improvement, and executing various safety trainings and programs. This position is responsible for evaluating safety protocols followed on various job sites.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of safety experience within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards with regards to construction
- Solid understanding of legal, health, and safety guidelines, policies, and principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (proficiency with MS Office)
- Strong attention to detail
- Well organized and ability to work independently
- Problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of safety experience within the construction industry.
- 5+ years' experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other construction trades
- Commercial Electrical Experience
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish
- NFPA 70E certification
- OSHA 30 and 500 certifications
- CHST/CSP certification
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
