Job Summary:
Responsible for conducting annual property and rooftop safety system inspections & assisting in the day-to-day operations of the company safety program.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual inspections of all business parks & rooftop safety systems across entire portfolio and report findings to management.
- Provide support to the Safety Manager. Includes new hire orientation, PPE management, safety training, and data entry.
- Conduct employee safety observations and coach employees on proper safety protocol.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Preferably in Occupational, Safety and Health. Will consider applicants with experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Construction Management or Inspection Roles.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to analyze data and report results in useful manner to management.
- Ability to present in front of a group.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments including rooftops and construction job sites
