Are you a safety-conscious professional ready to make an impact? We’re hiring a skilled and responsible Safety Coordinator to join a well-known agricultural company in Arvin, CA. In this role, you’ll lead and implement safety programs to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Shift Available:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Must be available for overtime as needed)

Pay Rate: $24.00-$28.00/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison with Environmental Health and Safety consultants.
• Conduct or arrange educational training sessions on workplace hazards for employees.
• Perform safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and projects to identify and address unsafe conditions.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions for identified hazards or deficiencies.
• Oversee accident/injury investigations and maintain related records.
• Serve as the go-to resource for safety-related matters, including inspections, education, training, and technical consultations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and monitoring data.
• Facilitate new employee orientation to introduce safety programs and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
