What you’ll be doing:

• Perform DOT Safety Functions as assigned by safety manager, including DQ Reviews, Equipment inspections, and driver HOS training
• Provide Support for Safety management and Transportation team
• Reinforce safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and morale
• Provide administrative support for Field safety managers
• Track truck audits and communicate results to ensure inspection goals are on track
• Track Hours of Service issues and address as instructed by Safety Manager
• Provide Safety leadership with reporting on guidance completion and post accidents requirements
• Monitor and report performance CSA and HOS metrics to Field Safety Manager
• Assist Safety Manager in conducting facility inspections and orientations as necessary
• Conduct equipment inspections
• Assist Safety Manager with monitory Motive for safety events and address with drivers as appropriate

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 1 years of Transportation Safety experience
• Must be willing to obtain a CDL Class A
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Must be comfortable working in 3^rd party software applications
• Motive, Fleetio, TenStreet, and Dispatch Track Experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel 25%
• Mechanical aptitude
