Are you looking to work in a vibrant, faith-filled environment?  Are you looking to have a great & positive impact on the next generation of our parish?  Sacred Heart School is looking for the next member of our team to serve as an SHS Preschool Instructional Assistant for the '24-'25 school year! 

The SHS PreschooI Instructional Assistant reports to the SHS Preschool Teacher and is responsible for advancing early childhood students’ academic, spiritual, social & emotional development.  To successfully do this, the Instructional Assistant will need to build outstanding relationships with students, faculty & staff. Largely, this will be done in the regular education preschool classroom setting working with a small group of students within the whole-group setting.  Another essential duty is the preparation of classroom materials as directed by the SHS Preschool Teacher.  An additional responsibility could be some lunch or recess supervision.  

The SHS Preschool Instructional Assistant would work at Sacred Heart School, home to SHS Preschool.  The SHS Preschool Instructional Assistant duties would take place during the normal school day, from approximately 7:45 am - 3:45 pm Monday through Friday.  Total working hours per week would be approximately 29 or less.
 

The optimal candidate will be one who can effectively communicate, collaborate, and build relationships with students and educators.  Candidates should have a high school diploma.  All persons hired regardless of position are subject to the FWSB Diocesan background check & Safe Environment processes.  
 

Starting wage = $13.00 per hour.  There are no health insurance benefits associated with this position.
