RVT or Experienced Veterinary Assistant - Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

- anesthesia monitoring

- dental cleanings under anesthesia with Veterinarian supervision

- dental extractions

- dental radiographs

- nerve blocks

- suturing

- intubation & extubation

Confidence with surgery & dentistry IS A MUST. If you consider yourself a glorified handler, this position is for you!!

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: admitting patients for procedures and exams, animal restraint, maintaining animal records and documenting conditions and updates, dental cleanings under anesthesia, taking dental radiographs, monitoring anesthesia, applying nerve blocks, intubating and extubating patients, venipuncture including catheter placement, administering PO, SQ, IM, and IV medications, filling prescription's, completing laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, and educating clients on veterinary medicine

Available Schedule: full-time position

• We are open: Monday - Friday 7:30am-5pm
• Saturdays from 8am-3pm
• Closed Sundays
