Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Location: (Inglewood, California)

Salary Range: $22 - $30 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting and assisting in various medical procedures including but not limited to:
  • Venipuncture
  • Catheter placement
  • Radiology
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dental prophylaxis
  • Laboratory work (urinalysis, blood work)
  • Patient recovery
• Providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapies
• Maintaining medical records and ensuring proper documentation
• Administering medications and vaccines under veterinarian supervision
• Educating and advising clients on pet health, nutrition, and care
• Ensuring compliance with veterinary laws and regulations in California
• Managing inventory and ordering medical supplies as needed
• Assisting veterinarians in surgery and other medical procedures
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the clinic and equipment

Qualifications:

• Current RVT license in the State of California
• 5 years of experience as an RVT (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in veterinary software and technology
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care
