Your Roadmap of Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of Service Technicians specializing in specific vehicle systems or functions.
• Hire, train, and evaluate auto service technicians, conducting timely and constructive performance reviews.
• Organize and oversee employees' work schedules to ensure efficient service operations.
• Identify mechanical problems using visual inspections and computer diagnostic equipment.
• Perform and oversee specialized repairs, replacements, or maintenance on vehicle components.
• Ensure all critical parts are examined and repairs are completed correctly through thorough testing.

Your Performance Specs:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certification for area of expertise.
• Three years of related experience in automotive service.
• Extensive knowledge of specialized automotive areas and general vehicle repair.
• Excellent mechanical repair skills and proficiency with computer diagnostic equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work safely in a noisy environment with various odors present.
• Physical capability to lift 30 lbs. regularly and perform inspections requiring bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in multiple automotive specialties.
• Experience in a supervisory role within the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
