RT Level II Technician - Houma, LA - Intertek Asset Integrity Management Inc

Intertek is searching for an RT Level II Technician to join our Industry Servicesteam in our Houma, LA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services!

The RT Level II Technician will support the Industry Services business by performing assigned inspection activities to ensure that an object, material, or system complies with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements. We're looking for an experienced Radiographer with a minimum of 3+ years' experience. Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus. This is a Full-Time, benefited position.

What you'll do:

• Radiographic Testing Film Interpretation (RTfi): Applicable to film interpretation of radiographs, evaluation of the Radiographic Method, and overall evaluation of radiographic film to applicable codes and standards acceptance criteria.
• • Set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• • The NDT Level II Technician should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the Methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on the job training and guidance of assigned trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
• • The NDT Level II shall be able to organize and report the results of any assigned NDT.
• • Adopt an Intertek "Marketing and Sales" attitude in all client, vendor, employee, and outside contacts interactions.
• • Actively pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be qualified and certified as an ASNT Level II in Radiographic examination; CR experience a plus
• Minimum of 3+ years field experience
• Valid Louisiana State Card
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)
• Valid TWIC Card
• Additional NDT certification in various methods preferred.
