About the Job
We are seeking a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client.
* Position is contingent on resume acceptance by Prime contractor. Selected candidate will be required to complete the UiPath Certified Professional Specialized AI Associate certification and credential.
Location of work is remote in US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex software programs
- Research and analyze existing systems and program requirements
- Resolve production support problems.
- Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
- Research, test, build and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products (robotics) based on client requirements.
- Translate the solutions provided by business analysts into detailed documentation, develop efficient code that will support Section 508 compliance guidelines, execute Unit Testing, integrate with external partners, and provide holistic support throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support the development, test and deployment of the RPA use cases, utilizing UiPath toolset.
- Complete all necessary processes and artifacts for the developed automations.
- Develop and document additional artifacts for automation requirements.
- Follow Agile best practices to complete assigned work activities.
Project Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five (5) years of application development experience required.
- At least two (2) years of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool experience, such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work well independently or in a team setting.
- Preferred: UiPath experience; UiARD - UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer, Certified Professional Specialized AI Professional or other UiPath certifications;
Additional Requirements as per contract/client:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance.
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years, and be Federal Tax compliant.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
