Job DescriptionAbout the role
- Building wooden structures, including walls, roofs and flooring according to design and blueprints
- Constructing window and door frames as well as staircases and flooring
- Ensure structural integrity of floors, walls, ceilings by blocking according to blueprints
- Identify deviations from design and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
Pay Range $32-36/hour DOE
QualificationsAbout you
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Rough Carpentry/Framing, over 10 years preferred
- Understand construction measurements and basic math- these will be tested during the interview
- Ability to read blueprints, easily understand materials and measurements from the prints and identify potential issues with materials.
- Demonstrated understanding of structural framing concepts
- Have working knowledge and understanding of all carpentry related tools, both power and hand
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as outstanding problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with a work crew
- Be physically able to perform various job site tasks as well as lifting materials and walking & standing most of the workday
