Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment)

System One is currently seeking a strong Mechanical Engineer with experience with rotating equipment on refineries and/or petrochemical industry in Downers Grover, IL.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities: Prepare specifications for pumps and compressors.
Perform rotating equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations.
Review rotating equipment vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards.
Attend Client, Vendor, and Internal Team meetings.


Mechanical Engineer Requirements: Bachelor’s degree – Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of rotating equipment experience working in the Refining, Petrochemical or Chemical Industry


Additional Information: Start date: January 2025
Duration: 6 weeks but could be longer
Location: Downers Grover, IL
Work Schedule 40 hours per week
