Rotary Shear Line Operator - Nesco Resource, LLC

Essential Job Functions:
1st shift 7:00am to 3:30
2nd shift 3:30 to 12:00am

*Locates material to be produced as directed by Sales
*Prepares machine for processing
-Loads coil onto uncoiler
-Verifies coil identity and specifications (gauge)
-Insures proper material condition and identification
-Feeds material through levellor
-Feeds material through cut to length
*Performs Quality Checks:
-Audits widths, length, diagonal dimensions, surface, shape, and metal condition
*Prepares skid and packaging station
*Bands completed skid and wraps with packaging paper
*Creates and applies identification to completed skid of material
*Moves completed material to shipping area
*Processes steel to customer specifications while performing inspection for any nonconformance
*Completes required quality and production reports
*Rotates function with Package Line Associate
*Performs minor maintenance as necessary
*Adheres to all company safety and quality standards
*Maintains a clean and safe work area

Physical Requirements
+Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
+Ability to lift 50#
+Subject to temperatures up to 105 F with humidity comparable to outside environment
+Subject to normal industrial hazards and hazards form sharp edges of sheet metal Minimum Requirements

Literate in the English language	Ability to perform basic math tasks using calculator	Ability to use ENMARK system
Ability to use metric measuring devices	Ability to read and understand Work Orders and ID tag information	Ability to understand production schedule and KSC Skid Cards
Ability to use overhead crane and forklift	Ability to use banding tools

Training Requirements

TPWI-003 Rotary Shear Line	TPWI-020 Hand Shear Instruction	TPWI-028 Production Report Instruction

Equipment Used: Micrometer, caliper, tape measure, banding equipment, overhead crane, forklift

PPE Required: Safety Glasses, Bump Cap, Steel Toed Shoes. Sleeves and Hearing Protection where Required
