Rose Bakery New York in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Head Chef.

Located in the Dover Street Market, Rose Bakery New York serves breakfast, lunch, and a fine variety of pastries throughout the day.

The #1 thing we want this role to accomplish is to support Front of House Staff while helping them with simple tasks including polishing glass and silverware.

The ideal candidate loves food, is creative, and has a passion for hospitality. You show initiative and leadership while at the same time being a great team player.

Language requirements:

• English

Experience:

• 3+ years of previous Sous or Head Chef experience in a high-volume similar business
• BOH & FOH management experience
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Staff training & motivation
• Payroll
• Scheduling
