Room Attendant Housekeeper - Lahaina, Maui 

Position Overview:

Our company is seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our team as a Room Attendant Housekeeper. Based in Maui, this role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of guest rooms, ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Job Summary

• Announce yourself when you arrive at the guest room.
• Departure cleaning.
• Empty trash.
• Remove soiled sheets and pillow slips.
• Inspect bedbugs, stains, damage, and debris.
• Remove all soiled terries.
• Remove and replace shower curtain and mat.
• Apply chemicals and scrub and clean bathroom walls, floors, and all fixtures including light switches, showerheads, toilets, and basins inside and out.
• Microfiber clean all mirrors.
• Dust all FF&E.
• Empty drawers and wipe clean.
• Reset bed with sheets.
• Reset pillow slips.
• Dust and wipe clean shelves, and closets.
• Reset room.
• Do a once over to ensure your room is ready for inspections.
• Maintains the cleanliness of assigned areas with the use of basic professional cleaning tools, supplies, and chemicals. 
• Greets and assists guests at every opportunity.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to orally communicate with team members and management. Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic backgrounds and managerial levels.
• Ability to communicate using radio and cellular phone.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, service-oriented attitude towards our clients and their representatives, team members, and management.

Education Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Professional development courses in related fields are preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, and kneeling for extended periods of time are common.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• No facial hair
• No dyed hair
• Hearing and vision are within normal ranges and are essential for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents.

Job Functions (includes, but is not limited to)

1. Read, understand, and explain all product's MSDS information sheets.

a.     Be able to recognize product names.

b.     Be able to understand and explain manufacturer's recommended use and storage.

c.     Be able to understand and explain proper procedures in case of emergencies. 

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Hotel as a room attendant.

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time

Shifts: 6:00a - 2:30pm and 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Pay: $16.00/hour
