About the Job
As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment for guests or residents. Your duties will include cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, as well as ensuring all cleaning standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
- Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and lounges.
- Change linens and towels as needed.
- Empty trash containers and disposal of waste properly.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, tissues, and cleaning products.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.
