Robotics Software Engineer (Somerville, MA)

Design and implementation of algorithms for key parts of navigation subsystem of the company's robotics software (in C++ and python, using knowledge of robot motion planning). Design and implementation of perception subsystem of the company's robotics software (using knowledge of computer vision, image processing and deep learning). Create simulation environments for easier development and testing of new robotics algorithms and develop tooling to help with debugging and optimization of current robot software (by using simulation software such as gazebo). Develop tests to verify performance of navigation and perception subsystems and their integration with the rest of the company’s software in collaboration with engineers developing other subsystems. Assist with project planning and system design. Assist with installation of software on deployed robots.

Requirements: Masters in Robotics Engineering & 1 yr exp in job offered or related.
