Robotics Cofounder - Hardware - Stealth Startup

We are building general-purpose robots to free humanity from poverty and mundane tasks. Currently, labor is one of the biggest bottlenecks preventing civilization from advancing at an accelerated pace. Labor automation has a "last-mile" problem, which can be solved by developers if provided with a reliable, off-the-shelf solution.

As a result, we are developing an affordable, reliable, and practical general-purpose robot for developers. With embodied AI capabilities doubling each year, we anticipate exponential growth in this product category.

Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on leader with a successful track record of building production-grade robotic systems.

Responsibilities:

As the Hardware cofounder, you will own the entire hardware R&D process. This includes:

1) Designing and building a general-purpose robot that can work 24/7 with minimal maintenance.

2) Overseeing the manufacturing process.

3) Own the stress-testing and quality-assurance process.

4) Hiring Founding Engineers

Experience: 5+ years of industry experience

Recommended Scope: Staff Engineers / Senior Engineering Managers
