About the Job
- Drive continuous improvements working with a cross functional wage and salary team.
- Address quality issues utilizing data, root cause analysis, and mistake proofing methods.
- Establishing sequence of events, part routings, proper operating method sheets, labor standards, layouts, tool concepts, part and equipment costs, and quality plans.
- Participate in team studies related to capacity, productivity, and efficiency.
- Support the launch of new product lines, model year changes & running changes.
Requirements
- 1 – 3 years Fanuc Robotics Programming Knowledge & Experience.
- 1 – 3 years PLC Logic Understanding and Troubleshooting.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience with welding of High Strength, low alloy steel.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience with fabrication processes including laser cutting and bending.
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekly overtime, and periodic Saturdays.
Preferred:
- 2-5+ years of relevant work experience working with FANUC robots.
- Understanding of GD&T, Tool Design, & 3D Modeling Practical experience with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW).
- Experience with shop floor manufacturing and incentive pay systems.
- Demonstrated experience effectively interacting and communicating with production employees, supervisors, managers, and other engineers.
- Experience using SAP and computer aided design and/or engineering tools (i.e.: Creo, AutoCAD, etc.).
