Key Responsibilities:

• Problem-Solving for Customer Needs: Develop tailored solutions to address customer-specific industrial automation challenges, ensuring high-quality, reliable results.
• Collaboration with Customers and Engineers: Work closely with both customers and the internal engineering team to design complete industrial automation systems or their components.
• Engineering Design and Review: Create detailed engineering drawings and lead design review meetings to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
• Proposal Development: Calculate customer pricing, source vendor pricing and delivery information, and prepare competitive, profitable sales proposals.
• Travel: Visit customer sites, both domestically and internationally, to gather requirements, present solutions, and oversee installations as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Associate’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of three years in sales application engineering.
  • At least one year of experience with industrial robotic automation, electric motors, servo systems, and PLCs.
• Skills:
  • Strong technical aptitude in automation and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to create engineering drawings and develop project proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with customers and engineers.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status.
  • Must reside within a 45-minute drive of Pewaukee, WI.
