An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Automation Robotics Technician to join our dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of our automated systems and robotic devices. This role is permanent and offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the automation and robotics industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement automated systems and robotic devices, using Solidworks and CAD software.
2. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment and robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
3. Program PLCs for automated systems to meet specific production requirements.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team on automation projects, contributing to the design and development process.
5. Conduct regular inspections of automation systems and robots to identify any issues and implement corrective actions.
6. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for automation equipment and robotic systems.
7. Train staff on the operation and maintenance of robotic equipment and automated systems.
8. Document all automation and robotics activities, including system designs, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
9. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in automation and robotics technology, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
10. Comply with all safety regulations and procedures when working with automation equipment and robotic systems.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in automation, PLC programming, robotics, Solidworks, and CAD.
2. Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of automated systems and robotic devices.
4. Strong knowledge of PLC programming and automation technology.
5. Proficiency in Solidworks and CAD software.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation and robotics issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical staff.
8. Ability to work in a team, collaborating with engineers and other professionals on automation projects.
9. Commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in automation and robotics technology.
10. Understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the automation and robotics industry.
11. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
12. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
