Registered Nurse (RN) Manager

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff and patient care activities within the healthcare facility. This position involves managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care. The RN Manager collaborates with other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of nursing care and works to create a positive and productive work environment for the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Supervision:

   • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including performance management, training, and development.
   • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

2. Patient Care Coordination:

   • Coordinate and oversee patient care activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality and patient-centered care.
   • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

3. Policy and Procedure Compliance:

   • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
   • Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.

4. Quality Improvement:

   • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care processes and outcomes.
   • Analyze data and implement strategies to improve nursing performance and patient satisfaction.

5. Education and Training:

   • Facilitate ongoing education and training programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
   • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating them into nursing practice.

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Wisconsin.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Working Conditions:

• The position may require working weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours.
