A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN RN UNIT MANAGER
As an RN Unit Manager at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you are responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, managing patient care, and ensuring the efficient operation of a specific unit within the facility. You will supervise nurses, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN RN UNIT MANAGER
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in nursing leadership or supervisory roles, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance in nursing home settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
