Full Time Monday through Friday!

The most successful candidate for this position:
- Has worked at least 1 year as a nurse in a supervisory capacity
- Has 1 year of experience in a long-term care OR physical rehab setting
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
- Possesses effective team problem solving and communication skills
- Provides oversight and serves as a resource to the direct care staff
- Provides direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned
The duties and responsibilities:
- Oversight and serve as a resource to the direct care staff
- Support to the DON and Unit Managers with staffing and activities as assigned
- Direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned
- Protect residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations
- Document resident care services by charting in patient and department records
- Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
The Qualifications:
- Must possess a Registered Nursing license for the state of Pennsylvania upon hire
- Ability to perform physical tasks required of skilled nursing
