RN Supervisor at CATA Personnel Services Inc.

Job Description:

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
• Work as a liaison with other clinicians, physicians, labs, radiology, etc.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the charge nurse, as well as the CNAs
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and families
• Provide information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing rules and regulations
• Work closely with the electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure client electronic charts are maintained, updated, and remain in compliance with company standards
• Maintains confidentiality of medical records, personnel records, etc., within the scope of their position
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university is preferred
• Proven experience within a SNF or similar healthcare setting, and a minimum of 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor
• Strong understanding of long-term care regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant healthcare software.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
