RN Supervisor Long Term Care - Ascension

We Are Hiring:

• Department: Long Term Care
• Schedule: Full Time; Night and Day shift position available
• Facility: Alexian Village-Tennessee
• Location: Signal Mountain, TN
• Salary Midpoint: $36.50 per hour

Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles.

What You Will Do:

Supervises and coordinates staffing and provides leadership while ensuring implementation of
clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned area.

• Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff. May provide input for hiring,
  training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given
• Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient
  outcomes. Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
• Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.

 

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

 

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
  required.
