The Opportunity: As the RN Supervisor at Venza Care's Folsom Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, you will play a vital role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring compassionate, high-quality patient care. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of healthcare services provided, and you’ll serve as a trusted mentor for the nursing team, guiding them to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the nursing staff, upholding quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
- Evaluate nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care, strong team relations, and efficient services
- Monitor patient care quality and assist with patient care as needed
- Respond to complex, urgent, or emergent situations
- Act as a liaison between staff, physicians, and other departments to facilitate effective communication
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting professional growth and training
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with the state board of nursing
- BSN degree preferred, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare software systems
