RN - Registered Nurse - TEEMA Solutions

TEEMA Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a rewarding long-term contract opportunity at a reputable corrections facility in San Quentin, California. This position offers an excellent pay rate of $77/hr with a portion being approved for stipend pay.

Requirements:

• Valid California nurse license.

• Minimum of 6 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities:

As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care and promoting the well-being of patients within the corrections facility.

Key responsibilities include:

Nursing Care Provision:

• Implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, including the administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, and disease prevention measures.

• Following physician orders and obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.

• Assisting physicians with medical or minor surgical procedures.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Collaborative Treatment Efforts:

• Participating actively in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans.

• Contributing valuable insights as a nursing professional to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conducting ongoing patient assessments and providing appropriate therapeutic interventions based on their physical and psychological status.

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of patient treatment regimens, documenting progress, and adjusting care plans as necessary.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Recording all nursing activities meticulously in medical records, including initial nursing assessments, treatment interventions, and patient education provided.

Schedule:

• This is a full-time position offering a 40-hour work week, distributed across 5 days.

• 2pm-10:30am; weekends required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay rate: $77/hr ($10/hr of this total paid in stipend).
