Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a Part Time status RN (Registered Nurse) in our Med/Surg - Hematology Unit

Position Overview

• Part Time; 20 hours per week
• Day Shift; 7am - 7pm
• New grads are welcome!
• You take control of your schedule with self scheduling

Department Overview

This is a brand new state of the art 24 bed unit that offers a wide variety of medical diagnosis from CHF, COPD, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Diabetes, Stroke, end of life to name a few, with specialty in caring for those with chronic blood disorders such as Sickle Cell.  You will also become very knowledgeable in procedures such as wound vacs, high risk medication infusions, telemetry, trach care, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis, etc. 

Our staff members have different backgrounds that allow us to provide culturally competent care to our patients and families.  The best part is learning and growing from each other!  Teamwork is what we do best and no one is left behind or left out.  We are  Sentara Fami-Leigh!!! Listen to what two of our nurses have to say about working on this Unit!
