ID: 51917307 Shift: 07:00-19:00 Description: Description: General CommentsData Collection: Unit Information: Medical Care Unit Location: Johnston Willis Hospital Address: 1401 Johnston Willis Drive Richmond VA 23235 Floor: 4 west Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 32 beds Number of Staff 45 Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 Manager, 1 Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, 4 RNS, 2-3 PCTs, 1 Unit Secretary o Night Shift 1 Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, 4 RNS, 2-3 PCTs, 1 Unit Secretary (until 11p) Patient Ratios 6:1 Type of equipment Standard Nursing equipment, BiPAP (Stable), Mid/Flow, PD, Heparin Gtts, Phillips Cardiac Monitors EMR Meditech 6.0 Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Willing to work weekends as assigned Ability to work with admission/discharge high turnover daily. No history of attendance concerns Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Positive outgoing attitude Good understanding of HCAHP importance List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Mainly Cardio-pulmonary , but can receive any general medical patients Ability to monitor all for cardiac needs we do not typically treat arrhythmias. Can receive stable Covid19 Patients Best personality Fit: Positive can do attitude Works well within team Self-motivated and self-accountability REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Only BLS To be clear ACLS is NOT REQUIRED Floating Area(s): Any similar level of care (med surg), or potentially stepdown with a med surg assignment. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire Navy Scrubs, Any shoe as long as closed toe and heel. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. No specifics.
