About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Med-Surg Adult, Transitional Care Unit **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 12-hour night shift, rotating weekends, and possible holiday coverage required **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years **License:** Active RN License; compact state licensure preferred **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS (PALS preferred) **Must-Have:** ER or Critical Care experience preferred; facility housing available **Job Description:** - Provide high-quality nursing care in a full-service, 25-bed acute care hospital with an attached 36-bed skilled Extended Care facility. - Deliver comprehensive care in a critical access hospital focusing on promoting health and wellness. - Manage patient care in the Med-Surg and Transitional Care Units during the night shift. - Participate in rotating weekend shifts, with potential holiday coverage requirements. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system. - Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care. - Facility reserves the right to alter arrangements as per contract agreements regarding shifts and hours. - Maintain up-to-date certifications and actively engage in ongoing education to stay current with nursing practices. **Additional Information:** Position requires commitment to being part of a dedicated healthcare team aimed at leadership in health services. The facility might call off travel staff for up to 3 shifts during any 13-week contract, without affecting guaranteed weekly hours.
