About The Position
Join Our Dynamic Medical-Surgical Team in Indiana!

Are you a skilled RN with a passion for diverse patient care? Our General Medical and Surgical units in Indiana offer an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of patient diagnoses, from chronic illnesses like COPD, Diabetes, and CHF to GI issues, infections, neurological conditions, and mental health disorders.
Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you'll provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care, including:

• Performing assessments and care planning
• Engaging in inter-professional communication
• Utilizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Managing IV therapy, wound vacs, feeding pumps, and more

Equipment You Will Use

• Epic electronic record
• Pyxis machines
• Accucheck blood glucose monitors
• Hospira IV pumps
• SCDs for VTE prevention
• Telemetry monitoring

Requirements

• Minimum one year of Med Surg hospital experience (Two years preferred)
• BLS certification
• IN State or compact RN license

Schedule

Enjoy the flexibility of 12-hour shifts, with a requirement of 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks. You'll float to areas in greatest need, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5.
Orientation and Training

We offer a comprehensive orientation program, including:

• 1 day of general hospital orientation
• Approximately 5 days of nursing orientation
• Epic classes
