About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical **Job Duration:** 12 weeks **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 Hours **Experience:** Minimum 1 year; first-time applicants accepted **License:** GA or Compact License required **Certifications:** BLS **Must-Have:** Epic proficiency **Job Description:** - Work with a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics. - Specialize in Renal Medical Surgical care. - Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 in a unit with 49 rooms and an average daily census of 48. - Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems effectively. - Wear navy blue scrubs while on duty. - Flexible with up to 7 days of requested time off. - Expected to work every other weekend. - Must float between units if needed. - No call requirements. - Work during major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. If two holidays occur, expected to work both; if three, expected to work two. - Achieve full compliance required for an on-time start, with potential start delays for non-compliance. - Must provide two supervisory references, with manager-level or above, highly preferred.
