**Description** PeaceHealth is seeking a **RN Inpatient - OP Infusion for a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Variable position.** The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $40.09 - $76.12. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. **This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening on this posting.** *** Hiring Bonus may be available! *** Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team. **Details of the position:** + Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. + Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards. + Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence. + Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development. + Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program. + Performs other duties as assigned. **What you bring:** + Accredited School of Nursing Required: Nursing and + Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and + Preferred: Specialty certification + One year of recent RN inpatient in a procedural setting experience required + Two years preferred: RN experience in an acute care setting, medical/surgical, specialty outpatient setting. + Central line, IV and PICC line care and knowledge preferred. + Experience with ultrasound guided IV insertion and/or obtain within six months of date of hire. + Previous oncology and infusion experience as a RN also preferred. + Required: Registered Nurse and + Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support + ACLS according to Resuscitation Training Completion Requirements policy. + Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Certification (ONS) upon hire or within six months of date of hire. **Skills** + Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
