Our organization has been at the forefront of helping our clinical research clients, and we’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in providing hands-on patient care in their homes.

Position Details

• Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Commitment: Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
• Location: Travel required within a 100-mile radius (mileage reimbursed)
• Lodging: In most cases, lodging expenses are covered
• RN License & Number: Required
• Interview:  VIDEO Interview

Responsibilities

As an RN in this clinical trial, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Traveling to patients’ homes
• Completing a sequence of procedures
• Charting data
• Submitting laboratory samples
• Visit duration averages 3.5 hours per visit

Equipment and Logistics

• Centrifuge, scale, BP cuff, ECG, lab supplies, and ancillary supplies provided
• Nurses must have their own smartphone, tablet, or laptop
• Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS allowable rate

Training and Contract

• Paid training as part of the 40-hour workweek
• Nurses must have their own laptop (UBC will set up necessary software/apps)
• Contract duration: 8-16 weeks

Duties

• Territory management and route planning
• Reporting as required by program guidelines
• Ensuring patient privacy and secure handling of PHI
• Providing product education and training to patients and healthcare professionals
• Maintaining program database and addressing inquiries
• Submitting weekly program-related expense reports and mileage
• Handling special projects/assignments as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Preferred 1 year of clinical trial experience
