Job Description:Position SummaryThe Director, Community Care Program is responsible for the administrative, clinical, and fiscal aspects of the Community Care Center accountable for the care delivered to Community Care patients, for the direction, supervision, development, and evaluation of staff and for the general administration of the Center in accordance with the Valley Hospital Mission, Vision, and Values Statements. Participates in the development of the long and short-range goals and objectives of community-based care, for medical services uninsured and financially challenged population, consistent with the Valley Hospital.EducationBSN required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Master's degree preferred. Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing) required.ExperienceMinimum of five (5) years of experience as a clinical nurse manager, charge nurse or comparable leadership role in a hospital, community-based setting.Special SkillsThrough knowledge and understanding of medical front office operations including reception/registration, scheduling, determination of eligibility, prior authorizations, and collection of copays/outstanding patient balances.Area of Talent: ManagementOrganization: The Valley HospitalDepartment: Family Care Center (Clinic)Shift: DayStatus: Full Time (36+ hrs/week)Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMreq16454United States
