RN Assistant Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health - Ascension

We Are Hiring:

• Department: Behavioral Health 
• Schedule:  Full Time Days - 40 hours per week. 
• Hospital:  Ascension St Francis Hospital 
• Location:  Milwaukee, WI 

What You Will Do:

Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership while directing activities of associates.

 

• Assesse daily patient access needs and ensure that appropriate patient care is provided. Provide
  oversight involving all aspects of nursing department operations.
• Deliver quality patient care and ensure implementation of clinical objectives.
• Delegate appropriate duties to clinical staff based on their assessed skills and abilities, maintaining
  proficiencies related to job functions and processes through ongoing monitoring of daily operations.
• Collaborate with department leadership to ensure processes are up to date and followed.
• Participate with ongoing quality initiatives, audit projects and development of plans for
  improvement.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
  Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
  transfer date required.

 

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
  required.

Additional Preferences:

• Registered Nurses with prior Behavioral Health experience are preferred.
