We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Advanced Behavioral Health team. This is a permanent full-time position, with shifts spanning across the 1st and 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients with behavioral health needs, including those with disabilities, special needs, mental health issues, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). As an RN in our Advanced Behavioral Health team, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing direct care to patients with various behavioral health needs, including those with disabilities, special needs, mental health issues, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
2. Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health conditions, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitoring patients' responses to these interventions.
4. Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans, and providing emotional support as needed.
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
6. Documenting all patient care and interactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
7. Participating in ongoing professional development activities to maintain current knowledge and skills in behavioral health nursing.
Job Details
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A current Pennsylvania RN license in good standing.
2. At least two years of experience as an RN, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
3. Demonstrated expertise in caring for patients with disabilities, special needs, mental health issues, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
4. Excellent assessment, clinical, and decision-making skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
6. A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
7. The ability to work flexible hours, including 1st and 2nd shifts.
